We do not have space for a full-size dryer in our condo. There is no question that a full-size would have more drying performance, but this works quite well. You just need to budget a bit more time for the clothes to dry and follow the directions about not overloading it. Overall I've been impressed by what it can do. In addition, we are saving lots of money on our electric and heating bills because (1) it is very efficient and (2) it does not pull air from our condo outside through a vent. One downside of the ventless is you do need to be more on top of cleaning lint out of the machine, but it's not hard. It just takes a reminder to do it per the manual's instructions.

I bought this washer and dryer combination from Lowes 2.5 years ago. The warranty only lasted for 2 years, and now it needs a $250 part installed (which the install will cost me another $200) I called customer service and they were NOT helpful at all. I am incredibly disappointed with this product and would not recommend it to anyone.

The dryer can be stand alone or as a stackable ventless combo washer/dryer. As we have the stackable combo we found that it did not use the the standard 230V outlet plug but needed a converter.

If I could give this a negative star rating I would. I bought this product from FURGERSON..NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS! Won't buy anything from them ever again. I was excited to get a BOSCH stackable for my new condo by the beach...this was the last appliance to go in. Within 2 weeks this dryer would not dry one piece of clothing. Not even a light weight scarf!! I have had to hang dry all my laundry. Continues to shut its self off with erro code E06. First date for a technician by Bosh is 2 months from the date of the call! I did everything the manuel tells you to do. Clean the lint, clean the filter, stop and start the appliance. Horrible dryer. I expected so much more from Bosch at a price of $1300 for a compact dryer. And the filter clean out is horrible..I have hard wood floors..water leakes everywhere. I cant wait to see my electricty bill because of this dryer. Bought a compact LG stackable for my parents wish I would have done the same for myself.

This little Bosch is my second compact condensing dryer. So far, so (mostly) good. This little machine dries a load much faster than my last compact condensing dryer (an Electrolux). A smallish load of 4-5 jeans dries in about 30-40 minutes which is slightly longer than a standard vented dryer, but less than half the time my old dryer took.
My only serious complaint so far is that I have an unanswered question about installation. It's been over a month and I've made several attempts, but no one at Bosch has seen fit to reply. I shudder to think what would happen if I need a service call.
Bosch's lack of response to my repeated questions is the reason for 4 stars. Otherwise this is a 5 star machine.
Some reviewers complain about the heat and humidity that is released into the house by condensing dryers. All condensing dryers do that. To be fair, even here in Virginia, it's only a problem for 4 months of the year.
A very important point for newcomers to condensing dryers is that all items in the load should be more or less the same weight for each item to get equally dry. If you throw a towel into a load of t-shirts, you end up dry t-shirts and a damp towel.
Only time will tell. So far, I'm quite pleased with this little dryer. That Electrolux only lasted 5 years which is why I changed brands.
And Bosch, if you read these reviews, I'll be a lot happier if I *ever* get the answer to my installation question!

I needed a compact ventless washer and did a lot of research to find what sounded like the best in my price range, and I am not disappointed. I am surprised at how well and how quickly it dries, and I like the "wrinkle guard" feature that will keep tumbling the clothes occasionally after the cycle is done so that the clothes don't wrinkle before you unload the dryer.

It does not properly dry clothes so, even if it "saves" energy, it's not worth it. You have to clean a heat exchanger once a month but that information is buried in the long instruction book and I missed it. Now, the dryer is completely non-functional.

I was apprehensive purchasing this dryer after reading all the negative reviews but found out it's all about the settings. Finding the right settings solved issues of damp clothes. Dont be discouraged by the total drying time that's on the machine after you picked the proper settings, the machine will adjust it based on a very accurate sensor (way more accurate than an LG -- which was what we had before replacing it with this Bosch dryer) which shortens the drying time in most of our loads. We are not experiencing hot air coming out from the machine as what some reviewers complained about. It's also very quiet (our washer/ dryer is set up in a bedroom) so this a big plus for us. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for compact stackable dryer.

I have been an owner of Bosch appliances for many, many years, both in my homes on Cape Cod through the years, and in my apartment in Manhattan. The quality is unavailable, and pricing is competitive with other high-end appliance companies. I highly recommend bush, I own both the dishwasher, washer dryer, and in my home and Cape Cod refrigerator as well.

I bought this dryer in 2018, started giving DR error early in the summer, I did some reasearch only and found couple solutions which I tried and didn't resolve the issue. Called Bosch and they want to charge me $150 for the first hour then whatever amount they said for every 15 minutes afterwards, Really?! on top of that they were not available for 2 weeks. I reached out to one of Bosch's certified service partners, they came over changed the water pump, couple sensors and still couldn't figure out why the dryer giving DR. really disapointed with my whole experience and now I'm stuck with a $1200 dryer that doesn't work. I would like to see Bosch standing behind it's brand or lose their market share

This dryer only works on large loads. Forget trying to dry a small load of anything. The moisture sensor will not register anything. The condensor holds water. Very annoying.

If condensate hose moves for any reason water backs up. Condenser must be removed between loads or nasty gel builds up quickly inside drain. Bosche dishwasher led me to believe Bosch could create wonders. The heat in my laundry room is unbearable throughout the spring and summer. This is the most overpriced useless appliance I've ever purchased.

This dryer is awful.
In the first year, the glass of the dryer door broke during a cycle - spraying glass all throughout the dryer.
The dryer gets SO hot, it literally turns the temperature of my apartment up one or two degrees when running. Clothes are boiling hot, but still wet. Even with very small loads.
Now, the exterior of my dryer is completely falling apart. The plastic on the top of the dryer is falling off in square pieces (no idea how??), the vent door is broken and cracked, and the handle of the dryer door is broken and cracked.
I have used efficiency units before and never had any of these problems. Extremely expensive and not worth it.

We were looking for a stackable washer, dryer set to fit into a closet with no modification, but traditional outside vented dryers are to big to fit into the space without modifying the space and adding the needed vent to the outside. In my research I learned about the ventless dryers used mainly outside of the United States and then found the Bosch 300 Compact Condensation Dryer, which does not vent to the outside but instead uses a condenser unit to eliminate the water which is part of the dryer. We purchased the Bosch 300 dryer along with a Bosch 300 Compact Washer. They are stackable and easily fit into the closet space. The performance of the dryer is great! It is quiet and with the offered dryer settings, we have great control over how it drys for our laundry needs. Being ventless, there is no fire risk from lint buildup. You do need to clean the condensation unit which is easy to do. Cleaning frequency depends on how often you use the dryer, and for us it is every 3 to 4 weeks. The only drawback, if you would call it that, is that this dryer runs at a lower drying temperature which is good for your clothing and does lower the operating cost, but adds to the overall length of drying time compared to a traditional vented dryer. Differant technologies that once we learned how to use is no longer an issue. Dryer is quiet compared to our last dryer. Great dryer!

The only function that does not shut off before clothes are dry is Sanitize. All other function shut off one-two minutes after starting. Very unhappy with this drier.

I purchased the 300 set. Washer is OK. The dryer is not worth the money. First, it takes forever to dry, no matter what setting one uses. Queen size sheets, even dried separtely, ball up and to get them to dry, I have to "unball" them. Otherwise the outside of the ball is dry, the inside very damp. Second, you can't use chlorine bleach. Third, drying items with very fine lint (like cashemere) the lint trap lets significant amounts of lint pass by and the wind up in the condensation area and then the machine throws a fault. You have to take that out clean it and start over. Fourth, on three ocassion, it has told me there are drain issues. After examining the drain hose and seeing nothing wrong, I read online that a simple solution was to turn the machine off and then back on. It worked. Fifth, it pumps a LOT of heat and moisture into the room. I knew it was ventless, but did no expect the amount of heat generated. Sixth, you have to clean the condensor area periodically. Not a hard task but something you have to deal with that you don't in a vented dryer. In short, this was a total waste of $1000 and I am even contemplating getting rid of the one year old set, writing off the $2000 and buying a regular washer and dryer. Do not buy unless you can live with the above

1st issue getting dryer to start is a task if you can get the start button to work by simply pushing on it then you must have the magic touch mine is so peaky most of the times I have to open the door then slam it shut, push the start button, then repeat, but slamming the door even harder for the dryer to actually start. Problem #2 The ventless dryer is a great idea however it sucks I clean my entire filter housing on a regular basis but I now am constantly getting an error code DR which is my drain line needs to be cleanned I have cleaned the drainline and the entire system but it still doesnt want to work now my pump is making a weird sucking sound so I am guessing this is going to be needing to be replaced. I have NEVER had issues with my other dryers they had lasted for several years I bought this dryer because of the Bosch name and its size. Bosch you have really disappointed.. this dryer does not live up to your name.. Won't ever buy this dryer again... Very Unfortunate!!!
