I purchased this refrigerator in April of 2018. It is probably the worst and most regretted appliance purchase I have ever made. From the first month it was nothing but problems and I so regretted not returning it to Nebraska Furniture Mart. I did purchase the extended warranty and we have had numerous visits from the appliance repair men to fix it. It has had 3 icemakers and the main control board replaced and it still does not work correctly. The 2 biggest issues for me would be the icemaker does not make ice consistently and the fridge side freezes food which is almost like having 2 freezers....I have complained about the freezing from that first month but apparently there is not a fix other than "don't place your food there". That significantly reduces the amount of room and usabilty of the refrigerator side, but it is something we have just had to learn to deal with. If you turn the temp down on the fridge side it affects what little ice we do get, so it is a catch 22 of what is most important to you. The ice is the other most frustrating issue. You can't count on consistent ice production. It is either working great or it isn't working at all. We supplement ice all the time with bagged ice we purchase. We aren't big ice users, only use yetis and fill cups once a day as the ice stays a long time in those. The repairmen who come don't really have answers they have to call in to the frigidaire techs who tell them what settings to change or what to replace. I have talked to numerous customer service reps and they really can't offer help. I think this model has issues in reading other reviews the same issues as I have had all along...One quick note about the outside. The handles are chipping off and the surface scratches so easily...My refrigerator looks 15 years old not 3. Think long and hard before you by this and get the longest extended warranty you can if you do purchase!!!!

I have owned this for about 3 years now, and from day one people told me its the worst brand. I did not listen at first, but I had to have the ice maker replaced(within months!) and also the control panel had to be replaced, the lights went out! The compressor is LOUD! The inner walls of the fridge portion and buckling and cracking, I had to buy replacement shelves- probably 3! Well finally, yesterday the compressor just stopped running. I cannot wait to get rid of this junk! Get it outta here fast!!!! Do yourself a big favor and not buy this refrigerator !!!! WORST EVER!!! And customer service- I DO NOT need to be contacted, thank you very much!

We are loving the extra space in out Frigidaire side by side refrigerator! The exterior color is so easy to keep it looking like you just polished it because it hides fingerprints. I never have worry about if the freezer and refrigerator are keeping the food at the right temperatures because it displays them on the panel above the water and ice dispenser. If someone leaves the door to it open; it beeps to alert me that the door was not fully closed, when last opened.

I was looking for a refrigerator that kept items cold, was built sturdily, easy controls to set and spacious. Found it all in this one. I was also looking for a dispenser area big enough to accommodate my tumblers and this one does. The ice machine works well and the doors close nicely. I like the fact it shows what condition the filters are in right on the control panel. A definite improvement over many of the other refrigerators I was looking at. I recommend this one for someone who wants to be able to control the inside temp but doesn't want to spend time figuring it out or remembering how when you only change them every once in a while.

We love our black stainless steel refrigerator! In comparison to the ™smudge free™ stainless we had prior, this color shows much less in the way of toddler finger smudges. The fridge is spacious and has great storage. The only complaint we have is that it is loud when refilling the ice trays and when stopping the water spout. But that™™s not much of a complaint really. It™™s a great fridge.

We've had this fridge for under a year. It already has a lot of visible scratches as the coating they apply is basically just a cheap/thin paint, and they don't even have an easy way to repair the scratches. I would never recommend a black stainless appliance to anyone, especially not from Frigidaire.Secondly, the shelves are terrible. Many of them don't line up properly and we had one break in the freezer. I contacted customer service about a warranty repair of the broken shelf and they told me it's a "cosmetic" issue that's not covered under warranty. I fail to see how a shelf is cosmetic when I literally can't use my freezer for storage where the shelf is broken.Overall, a terrible product and terrible customer service. Moral of the story, don't buy Frigidaire products.

I bought this same modal a little over 6 years ago and about 1 month after the 5 year warranty ran out, the compressor completely died. I was extremely frustrated. In the old days, a refrigerator would last 20 years easy, and mine already failed in just over 5 years. I did a lot of research and spoke to a few different serviceman and they all said that this was really uncommon. Because my wife and I really liked the refrigerator up to that point and just assumed it was a fluke. We gambled and got the exact same, newer model of course. It's about a year old and already the water filter connection has failed and is leaking water all over the refrigerator once it is inserted. Thinking it might be a defective filter. We bought another one and the exact same thing is happening. And water filter are not cheap. I am very displeased with the quality that I have seen so far and at this point. Will most likely not buy a Frigidaire again. When I have issues like these, its hard to appreciate the features that we do like.

We bought this fridge 3 years ago. After only 6 months the ice dispenser broke. We order the part and fixed it. A year and half later the part broke again. We did the same and fixed it ourselves. A year later the same part broke. We tried calling Frigidaire and no one picks up due to high volume of calls.

Family that sells for Lowes advised to get the Gallery version, which we did.I also bought a warranty since fridges aren't what they used to be. I really like this Frigidaire 25.5 cu. ft. refrigerator. It so many of the features I wanted along with the beautiful finish, black stainless. I especially like the fact that fingerprints do not show, that when the doors are opened the lights phase on and all the storage available. the freezer is very roomy also.

I love the refrigerator. The ice maker is horrible!!! It makes 10 little ice cubes at a time. I thought there was something wrong with it so I pulled out the bucket and looked at the ice tray and it measures approximately 2 inches wide and 4 inches long. The ice cubes are pyramid-shaped about the size of a nickel. I paid over 1,400 for a fridge with an ice maker like this. Customer support said there is no upgrade and no other ice maker I can put in.

Our " big box store" refrigerator died an untimely death and we decided to go local and see how to replace that item which belonged in a suite of appliances. We are so glad we did. After having a french door refrigerator, going to side by side was heavenly. The finish matches the rest of the appliances and it is so spacious inside. It is no longer crowded. The inside was very thoughtfully designed for the most efficient use of space. Thank you Frigidaire for restoring my faith in appliances. Kitchen remodel wasn't complete until the new appliances were installed. Fridge has plenty of room and the style really sets the kitchen off. Small problem with the doors lining up. Still waiting on the retailer to correct. Otherwise very happy.

When we purchased our home, we were thrilled that the previous owner had installed all new kitchen appliances. Unfortunately, the refrigerator-freezer has given us marginal performance at best. Almost all of the freezer bins and refrigerator drawers have cracked and need to be replaced. The ice maker will only produce crushed ice instead of switching back to full cubes, and the finish on the exterior door handles is scratching off. Based on this marginal performance, we will not be considering Frigidaire appliances for future purchases. Replacement bins and drawers would be greatly appreciated. I can only imagine that I am one of many customers complaining about this model.

I bought this unit about three weeks ago and I'm so disappoint in it. 1st NO cold water from the water dispenser in the door. 2nd the drawers install are hard to pull out. 3rd the setscrews in the handle stick out further than the handles. 4th the protective plastic the put on is underneath the seals and other parts, it took around 10 hours to remove most of the plastic. May last three refrigerator going back 25 plus years had COLD WATER dispensing from the door No where did it say that it didn't dispense cold water until you hook it up and go to the troubleshooting section. It says to add ice are you kidding me. 100 year anniversary what a joke on this product and ALL the customers how try and use a reusable water boyyle. Thanks for a bad ideal.

I purchased this refrigerator to replace a 14 yr old refrigerator and so far I am very pleased. It has the extra space that I need in a refrigerator, love the lighting which comes on gradually when you open the door. The ice maker is definitely an upgrade, love the smaller sized cubes. The only thing I wish were bigger would be the place to put a glass to get water, I think all refrigerators should expand this area to handle the extra large glasses and water bottles. All in all a refrigerator with the room you need.
