The racks that came with the dishwasher rusted out. These were warranties. I had to call 4 different times for an average time of almost 40 minutes a call before I finally received new racks. I know you dont care about my time but it is worth something to me.

Unit failed after only 3 years

I bought this unit 3 years ago it was out of warranty except for the motor. Had a very bad burning smell when starting and through the LE code. Yes they would coover the motor but the main wiring harness had burnt and the mother board. Cost to fix not worth it even with a free new motor. They are giving me a small discount on a new one but ouch

Ive owned this product for about 5 years. After about 2.5 years it started flashing on the display and sometimes shutting itself off. I find that it will do this frequently for a while and then be good for a while. I expected better quality out of lg and when I contact led customer service they werent very helpful. Does wash dishes well though.

I bought this over 3 years ago with the stove and refrigerator. I have only had problems with the dishwasher. After reviewing many other brands of appliances they all seem to have problems so the repair service was more important to me. They have replaced the faceplate twice. Luckily the service was good and the wait wasnt too long. I bought an extended warranty for the next 3 years. I expect appliances to last at least 10 years.

Best customer service- EVER

I was blown away at the level of customer service that I received during a recent call. The top rack was rusting on my 4 year old machine. I called customer service I had the receipt with the model number- the dishwasher was still under warranty but she needed the serial number from the inside of the machine and I was calling from work without access to the machine. She asked me what time I would be home that evening and SHE CALLED ME- at home ordered a new rack and we received it within 2 days. Incredible. Well done LG.

Ive had this dishwasher almost 2 years. It has now become an electrical nightmare. I had 1 repair individual come out to look at it. He ran a diagnostic on it and said its fine. Oh no it wasnt. Second repair indivicame out a week later diagnosed it and ordered a part. Still waiting for them to install new part. Im handicapped and cant go without a dishwasher. I had to record issue with dishwasher to show repair individual. No error codes thrown. They just dont make stuff as well as they used to.

Service Rep would not help me run diagnostics but spent 15 minutes giving me lectures 74 years old and have had countless dishwashers about dont rinse dished run hot water first dont overload refill finish.......... blah blah blah. Another Poor Quality Appliances from LG

This is the second LG dishwasher that has failed me in a little over 5 years. The front control touch panel started to light up erratically. Customer service is practically useless. I called and spoke to numerous customer service representatives and they all had something different to say. Some stated the part was covered under a five-year warranty others stated it wasnt one representative told me it was possible to get an extended warranty due to product quality and others simply had no solution. Customer service is a mess with little procedural knowledge. In the end the dishwasher failed after a little over 2 years just like a previous LG dishwasher that I had. The cost to fix it is almost as much as a new dishwasher. LG knows they make products that dont last long in order to buy another appliance. This is a terrible sales model as customers like myself will move on to more quality brands.

Rusty in less than 2 years

I bought this dishwasher 2 years ago and the inside of it is rusting. The plate dividers keep falling off. The panel stopped working half way through the 1st year and then randomly turned on again after a month of non use. It doesnt dry all the way through and its very picky about what dish soap works with it. Light wash doesnt work at all honestly not worth it.

Havent had the best luck with it. When it works its great. But it wont start many times turns off halfway through washes and generally is frustrating. Took a $250 fix after two years of ownership. The refrigerator I bought with the set also had to have a new compressor after 2 years and two of the knobs broke off of the oven. I wont be buying Lg appliances in the future. Wouldnt recommend.

Excellent except for

The dishwasher is an excellent product. It cleans everything we can throw in it. There has never been a complaint about its capabilities. Heres the reason I gave it a 4 out of 5. Within less then 4 years I had to replace both upper and lower racks due to rusted through tines and rack frames. The upper rack went first and once I provided all the necessary documentation LG graciously replaced the rack free of charge. About a year and a half later the bottom rack did the same thing. I contacted LG again and the operator said I was approved for replacement. Even got a case number. After a couple of months no replacement rack. I called LG back and they could not provide an explanation as to who and why the ball was dropped. Needless to say I got the lower rack within a week. Our LG dishwasher is an excellent product and I can understand sometimes defects rear theyre ugly heads or were just plain missed in the manufacturing process. To LGs credit they stood by their product and made it right by us. Because of that I would buy another LG product.

Got it a year ago and they have to replace the door inside and the electronic front panel. My extended warranty did cover it and the repair guys are nice.

Hasnt worked right from the start

From the beginning I have had issues with this unit randomly shutting off in the middle of its cycle. At just over a year it has gone completely bonkers display flashing beeping at times wont even let me start a cycle. Online research has led me to believe water is getting into the display assembly. LG service has been quick and helpful although the wrong part has been ordered TWICE and my dishwasher still has not been fixed.

This was a replacement unit. Waterline and drain line locations were different and created problems for hookup. Wish manufacturers were consistent.

Cleans Very Well

Ive had this Dishwasher for a little over three years. Cleans very well even relatively soiled dishes even though usually theyre rinsed fairly well. Drys good and is also quiet. I like this dishwasher and would recommend Ive recommended this to at least 2 others who have bought it. I will say that the racks did get rusty in a relatively short period but they were replaced by LG who had excellent product support. The racks seem to have been updated.

I purchased this along with a refrigerator microwave and stove package a couple years ago from The Home Depot for a home I remolded for my mother right before I lost her. The products set idle for a couple years until my wife and I decided to move into the home. All the other products worked great except the dishwasher. After having a serviceman look at it he stated I needed to contact LG for a replacement unit. After explaining to LG about my new dishwasher they sent their own serviceman out and he noticed the dishwasher had been bent on the back corner and leaked but couldnt replace because the warranty had expired. He also noted might be able to fix the leak with some silicone calk on that rear corner so I went to The Home Depot and bought calk and attempted the repair. Ill let you know if it worked in a couple days. I am disappointed in LG although I understand how warranties work. It was a very unusual set of circumstances that occurred but it was obvious that we didnt cause the issue or the installer. It had to have happened in shipping.

Really happy with this dishwasher had to return 2 prior not this brand or style because they didnt work well but this one does. I highly recommend this for cleaning Its endurance is yet to be determined as Ive only had it around a year.In the past Ive always been pleased with LG products and services also if something goes wrong LG has stood by their products and resolved any issues.
