Outstanding Microwave

Where do I even begin? I purchased a microwave a year or so ago and it was a complete disaster. The light didnt go on until the door was closed so cleaning it was difficult with no light. In addition I had to almost punch the controls to set time and start and the list goes on. Fortunately at least for me it stopped working. After careful review I chose the LG Neochef. This microwave is sleek and cleaning the outside is a breeze. Instead of annoying beeps you hear pleasant tones. The controls are very sensitive and require the slightest touch to activate. In addition if you dont take the food out right away you are reminded. So far I havent found anything negative about this microwave. Its a keeper for sure.

Wobbles on the counter

For the price I thought this microwave would last longer than 3.5 years. Stopped heating entirely. Pretty sure it is the magnetron which has a 10 year warranty. I have to take it to an authorized service center and pay for labor to have it replaced. The cost would not be worth it. Also the door handle on this model sticks sometimes.

This is a fabulous microwave

This LG microwave has an actual smart inverter that works. What that means is 60 power is 60 all of the cook time and NOT full power on for 60 of the time. The pulsing of full power which most microwaves use tends to overcook parts of your food and to toughen it. My husband can actually poach eggs in our microwave on a reduced power and not have hard overcooked pieces and the yolk doesnt explode. We loved this microwave so much from our previous home that we replaced the professional microwave that our custom home builder was putting in our new home. I cant recommend this microwave enough.

Not engineered to hold up what so ever. Broke button that only has a couple flimsy plastic pivot arms and messed up LED read out. Dont bother pretending to respond Ive already wasted hours with customer care to have them tell me they arent standing behind it. The sound for LMC2075ST CAN be turned off.

I do like the look of this microwave and it seems to work well so far not long enough yet to write that review but the sound oh the sound. There are different models with different ways people have found to turn off the sound for them like holding in clear and the sensor heat buttons for a few seconds at the same time until it displays off but for our LMC2075ST model the answer we found online was holding in the timer and the off buttons simultaneously. It does turn all the sounds off but it doesnt annoy half the household.

I bought this microwave online from LGs website a few weeks ago with a trim kit. The trim kit came two days before the microwave so I waited for the microwave before I started the in cabinet install. When unpacking the trim kit I discovered three of the mounting hardware components were damage including the stainless steel trim. I contacted LG via phone call and they acknowledged the concern through several emails including a return label. Its been 10 days and I havent heard if they received the return and was informed that I wouldnt be receiving a replacement until they received the damage one so waiting to hear from them as of now. I like the microwave but was a bit disappointed when I discovered the number pad isnt lighted so need to turn on kitchen lights in the evening to see timer pad. The mounting hardware makes the microwave safe to use when its installed in a cabinet so Im bit concerned when others use it as it can tip out if youre not careful. Ill review again when my trim kit is final received and installed

Mechanism to open the door broke

I bought this microwave in December 2022 from Best Buy. The entire mechanism that is used to open the door is made of plastic. And of course as a result it is broken. Apparently just 90 days in and the warranty is expired. My next microwave will have a handle on the door. I am very disappointed that the LG product didnt make the element that is used all the time for this unit more durable.

I bought this during before the thanks giving sales. It was a reasonable price but larger than I needed. I was replacing a below counter top cabinet mounted unit and needed a larger one to fit in the space. It works OK. two problems: 1: There was quite and odor from it for the first couple of weeks. Smelled like plastic and chemicals. The odor dissipated after about 1 month. The second is that the key pad is not completely illuminated. I bought this microwave several months ago when our old one died. First time having an LG I love the sensor technology works great tried it with popcorn and baked potatoes. It is so easy to clean also. Great features and at a good price. This is a very spacious microwave perfect for cooking large meals.

Worst Appliance Purchase Ever

Door button has broken 3 times in 3 years. You have to disassemble the entire microwave to fix. LG is the king of using cheap plastic parts. Youd think something as frequently used as a door open button would be made with more sturdy materials. LG dont respond asking me to reach out via social media. Absolute abomination that youre asking people to resolve their issues via twitter and Facebook.

Very happy with our new microwave. Looks great just right amount of features. Only reason 4 instead of 5 stars is because it doesnt have an actual handle you push button to open. Therefore it is constantly covered with fingerprints in that area. Other than that recommend.
