Not Bad for Temp-to-Permanent Use

Bought for temporary cooling of master BR when central A/C failed Florida in the summer. Worked so well cooling the BR I decided to keep it installed. Now I use it to cool the room at night so I can leave the central A/C on a higher temperature for the rest of the house - saves $$. Although it is a bit louder than the central A/C its about the same as many motel thru-wall units and it acts as white noise to cover up sounds from outside and neighbors townhouse. It does allow more sunlight into the room faces south it is tolerable expanding flaps could be a bit more opaque. Although I had to jury-rig it a bit to fit the aluminum window sill it wasnt too bad and I was able to seal it up pretty well. Be careful when installing the insulating strips - once they touch a surface they dont come off without falling apart.

Not a bad unit for my 175 sqft uninsulated shed. In Texas the summer can be downright brutal. This unit brought me enough relief that I could get back to work in my tiny shop. It managed to keep it 80* while it was 100* outside. Pretty easy install as well. It could use a couple more drain holes on the bottom of the unit so water has no chance of sitting in the bottom and rusting it out and more adjustment angles for the vents which only adjust right or left - up and down would be nice too. Not huge deals but add those and this would be unbeatable for the money.

This air conditioner runs well and I like the air vents on top of the unit instead of facing on the front. However this year I noticed rust on the outside fins and at the bottom of the unit. Ive never had an issue with other make/models for rust issues. I contacted the company and their response was that they were not responsible for rust issues. While trying to clean the delicate fins with a scour pad I inspected the bottom and noticed a black cap and removed it. I found water coming out of it. It is probably my fault for not noticing that before but the instruction manual should have indicated the cap must be removed so condensation water could drain. I guess both the company and myself were in error. Otherwise Im very happy with the unit and hope it continues to run despite the damage with rust.

The air conditioner works fine. The only thing I would change about it is that when the timer is set the default goes to the energy saving mode which I dont like. I need the fan to be constant in order to sleep so I always have to change the mode to cool each time.

This is my second unit. I bought one two years ago and liked it so much I got the same model for another room this year. The energy saver feature is great and I dont freeze from being blasted by a constant stream of cold air when its not needed. Great Little Cooler

Installation was easy the unit is very light and quiet. Cools off the bedroom in no time at all. The installation sheet was easy to follow I had looked at the Utube film first but the install had changed a little. The unit fit nicely in the window side panels seal well and it is solid in the mount no wobbling Would buy it again. Love the remote.

Backup for Central AC in a Power Failure

Bought this to keep my bedroom cool during a power failure. The power draw is low enough to be powered by my portable generator during a power failure. I bought the LG LW6017R 6000 BTU window a/c and fully enjoy the unit. Our bedroom is 13X14 and the 6000 btu is perfect size. Fairly quiet cools off room quickly. I use the eco setting so unit shuts off when room reaches desired temp. I am very pleased with this purchase

The a/c for the price

Purchased this last month since our old a/c doesnt seem to make our room cold enough. I saw this in Target and purchased it right since its selling out quickly. I was able to price match them. The only thing I dont like it its a manual adjustment for the air to go out instead automatically moving.

Quiet Easy to setup Easy to Use

Ive had the AC for a few months now and have enjoyed it I only have a few complaints. The Accordion sides are very stiff and I had trouble getting them to set right. The Compressor struggles to keep up with a room that is smaller than what it says the unit can handle. But overall would buy again.

Quiet and the remote control is a great feature

Purchased this in early May for the house in which my elderly mother lives and now mid-July its being used often. I installed it in her bedroom window so Im glad its quiet. I set the thermostat at 76 for her so it wont get any colder than that and I find she activates the air conditioner with the power button on the remote control during the afternoon and evening. She doesnt understand things like a thermostat any longer but she understands the big blue button on the remote. There isnt any specific temperature that she always wants: sometimes she prefers mid 80s so if she feels cold she pushes the blue button again and turns the unit off.
